Healing Flavours Herbs & Spices
with Anthia Koullouros, Naturopath
Overview
This October, the Mindd Health Hub is offering free access to Healing Flavours with Anthia Koullouros, Naturopath.
Herbs and spices do more than add flavour. In this hands-on cooking demonstration, Anthia draws on more than two decades as a naturopath to show how everyday ingredients from your pantry and garden can support digestion, gut health and overall wellbeing.
She walks you through two simple recipes. The first is a warming Dandy Chai Adaptogen Elixir made with dandelion root, chicory, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric and liquorice root. The second is a colourful salad bowl layered with fresh herbs, seaweed, seeds and citrus. She explains what each ingredient does and shares her easy formula for building nourishing bowls at home.
Objectives
- What adaptogens and carminatives are, and how they support your gut
- How to layer herbs and spices into your own tea blend
- A simple formula for a nourishing salad bowl
- Easy ways to add more herbs to every meal
- Apply simple, achievable strategies for creating nourishing meals that support long-term healthy eating habits.
